The Role 

The marketing coordinator is responsible for the creation of marketing content, distribution of this content, and analysis of the effectiveness of the content.  This resource plays a key role in development of the marketing strategy for ComTec’s partner channel, ComTec’s existing client base, and prospects of each. 

  • Role reports to the Senior Director of Sales
  • Resource will be asked to take direction from the leadership team, document priorities and planned activities, and then deliver against that plan
  • Resource will coordinate activities across internal and external talent
  • Resource will work closely with Sales to create top of funnel lead generation
  • Resource will work closely with the Product dev team to understand product and service value props and communicate that to the market 
  • Resource will work closely with the Channel dev team to understand partner program value prop and communicate that to potential partners 
  • Resource will work closely with the Customer Success Team to develop content for education of the client base

Key Performance Indicators 

  • Role will be measured by the effectiveness of marketing efforts to generate opportunities: 
  • New client leads 
  • New partner leads 
  • Upsell and cross-sell in existing client base 
  • Role will be measured by the ability for the resource to measure and report on this effectiveness of efforts 
  • Role will be measured by adherence to ComTec Core Values 

30/60/90/120 Day Plan 

  • 30 Day Target:  Employee displays the ability to communicate ComTec’s value proposition, the value of our Products & Services, and our Core Values.  Employee can communicate the value proposition of the Channel and Customer Success teams. 
  • 60 Day Target:  Employee is creating meaningful content, executing on marketing campaigns, and has established a reporting program to communicate the effectiveness of their marketing activities. 
  • 90 Day Target: Employee is actively assisting with Customer Success activities. 
  • 120 Day Target: Employee can communicate the function and value proposition of all ComTec business units and teams. 

Experience & Skills 

  • HubSpot or the like
  • ZoomInfo or the like
  • Social Media marketing management
  • A solid understanding of SEO/SEM and how to implement/measure
