Job Description

ComTec drives a majority of new business by working with partners.  Our partners are traditionally companies that are deeply involved in the technology landscape of their customer base.  The Partner Development Manager focuses on attracting new partners and maximizing the value ComTec provides to existing partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and articulating the existing partner program and its value proposition
  • Engaging existing partners to drive value to them and from them
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase partner productivity
  • Be an advocate for our partners into ComTec
  • Develop and report on success metrics for partner programs
  • Recruit new partners
  • Develop new partnership strategies and execute

Minimal Key Performance Indicators

  • Drive a minimum profit from our partners in relation to the budget
  • Maintain partner satisfaction as measured in partner surveys

Initial Professional Growth Plan

  • 30 Day Targets:
    • Learn ComTec’s Mission and Core Values and be able to articulate them internally.
    • Understand ComTec Partner Management Policies and Procedures so you work within these frameworks.
    • Understand ComTec Cloud’s Products and Services so you can articulate the value proposition.
    • Understand ComTec’s Customer Experience Roadmap so you can articulate the value proposition.
  • 60 Day Targets:
    • Learn ComTec’s Mission and Core Values and be able to clearly articulate to externals associates.
    • Successfully lead partner engagement meetings
    • Develop a campaign to meeting new potential partners
  • 90 Day Targets:
    • Identify and Introduce 1 new partner per week
  • 120 Day Targets:
    • Demonstrate a working understanding of the ComTec services, their options, their value, and how they can be used to solve business problems.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the metrics aligned with the role and why they are important.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 4+ Years of experience in a professional setting
  • Ability to regional travel up to 15%
  • Experience in the technology industry preferably telecommunications, managed services, ISP, VOIP desired
