Bach to Take Helm of Product Development

Vineland, NJ — ComTec Systems, Inc. today announced the hiring of Robert Bach in the role of Director of Product Development.  The addition of Bach supports the strategic push into the Enterprise via solution selling that has driven ComTec’s growth over the last decade.  With Bach onboard, ComTec adds experience delivering UCaaS and CCaaS across global enterprises with a focus on deep platform integrations into core Healthcare, Banking, and Professional Services ERPs.

“We’re very excited to have Robert onboard here at ComTec,” said Mike Vertolli, CEO of ComTec Systems.  “We had Robert on our radar for some time and are excited we were able to bring him onboard.  His track record of delivering innovative solutions across multiple functional teams to bring them together for efficient collaboration and operational excellence is aligned with what ComTec provides daily to our customer base.  Robert’s leadership strengthens our core values and mission to create Customer Centric Solutions at the forefront of the Unified Communications space.”

As Director of Product Development Robert helps ComTec define product strategy, explore additional revenue streams and influencing the adoption of our products and services in our new and existing customer base, driving product strategy across our suite of product and service offerings as the voice of that product’s customer.

According to Bach, “Being part of a dynamic team focused on solution selling was my goal from the outset.  When I met Mike and the ComTec team I knew I found a great opportunity.”  This sentiment was echoed by Robert’s manager Bob Hammond who originally worked with Robert while at Polycom, “Robert was someone we knew we wanted and we weren’t going to stop until we had him onboard.  We’re thrilled to put Product Development in his capable hands.”

Robert brings to the ComTec team more than 20 years of experience managing technology, helpdesks and system and solution lifecycle in the Unified Communications industry.  Prior to joining the team, he was VP of Unified Collaboration at WPP Group.  His responsibilities included designing and implementing IT Standards for technology and system architecture and running the UC&C Help Desk and service for this global media firm.
