Vineland, NJ May 22, 2020 — ComTec Cloud, a division of ComTec Systems, has been at the forefront of offering Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools, amassing over 10,000 users in 2019. The ongoing advancements of the iConnect2TeamsTM product line, bringing together Microsoft and Cisco, extends ComTec’s one of a kind portfolio.

The adoption of Microsoft Teams allows organizations to leverage a single interface for productivity applications and collaboration. With the ongoing advancements of ComTec’s iConnect2TeamsTM there are new powerful capabilities allowing organizations to combine the collaboration tools built into Microsoft Teams with the industry-leading Cisco BroadSoft UC platform.

“We have been talking to our clients and MSP partners everyday about giving them a choice for how they work. If their workforce is efficient using MS Teams, they should be able to use that for calling as well, but with the added benefit of advanced routing, call recording, call center, and other tools lacking in Microsoft Teams native phone system”, says Will Taylor, VP Operations ComTec Systems.

With iConnect2TeamsTM, ComTec added four geo-redundant data centers and multiple world-class carriers all woven together with Microsoft and Cisco to create a highly resilient and scalable hosted voice solution.  This is tied into the familiar and highly integrated Microsoft Teams platform allowing customers of all sizes and verticals to enjoy enterprise phone system features without changing their collaboration workflows.

Flexible calling plans, advanced feature sets, centralized invoicing and unmatched redundancy provide meaningful savings and peace of mind to ComTec’s clients, not to mention the time saved and pain avoided by leveraging ComTec’s White Glove service delivery team and in-house Support Desk.

Mike Vertolli, ComTec’s CEO, stated, “The investments we have made over the last several years continues to pay off as we remain one of the industry’s leaders. With iConnect2TeamsTM we believe is a game changer for both Microsoft and Cisco and having been the parent company of this product offering is one of our greatest accomplishments.”

With this achievement, ComTec continues a 32-year tradition of being at the forefront of next generation technologies while delivering exceptional service. ComTec agents and partners boast over 300,000 end points and a national footprint of VARs and approved installers, 2020 is on record pace to be the largest growth year in ComTec’s history. ComTec and its partners combine to form one of the top Microsoft Teams providers in the US and continue to pave the way with new and exciting advancements.

ComTec distributes the iConnect2TeamsTM product line via one of the largest reseller channels in the region.  One of ComTec’s top partners and Microsoft Gold Partner, Ovatio Technologies, not only serves a large base of Microsoft Teams users but also provides their own value-added services to those organizations.  Chuck Salvo, CDIO of Ovatio, commented on why they chose ComTec as their partner, “We interviewed three of the top four players, compared features, prices, references and organizational stability,  and determined the best fit for our clients was ComTec’s iConnect2TeamsTM.  We then layer in our Microsoft Office as a Service and M365 custom integration offerings to provide our clients with business process improvements that move the needle.”
